All I Need to Know About Chopboku

Chopboku is Nigeria number One Marketplace and Trusted Online Grocery Foodmart. We deliver groceries and essentials to the doorstep of our customers and take the market stress off them. We deal in both retail and wholesale supplies.

How Does Chopboku Works?

Customers can shop on Chopboku for items such as general groceries, fresh produce, grains and fruits you can find in the food market. When customers add items to their order basket, they have the choice of selecting their preferred delivery window from multiple options. The website is user-friendly and the service is interactive; we keep customers updated at every stage of the processing of their order. Customers are to create account for a seamless check-out. Customers can bulk-buy and be in a group to share in large quantities under a special arrangment

Will You Deliver to My Area?

We currently offer services in major parts of Lagos State location listed below,

  1. Lekki, Ajah, VGC, Ibeju-Lekki
  2. Ikoyi, Banana Island and its environ
  3. Victoria Island, Oniru-Estate and its environ
  4. Lagos Island,

If your location is not within our current coverage area and you will like to be served, please contact us on support@chopboku.com so we can make arrangement to reach your location.

We welcome partners and sellers within and outside Lagos. Our future goal is to reach Nigerians wherever their location may be.

When Will I Receive My Order?

At checkout, you are able to select a preferred date/time when you will like your order delivered.

We operate two delivery mode:

Standard Delivery: This delivery mode is 24 hours upon confirmed order, and may be free depending on the quantity of items purchased.

Same day or Preferred Delivery: This mode comes with a cost which will be discussed based on your order, time and location upon confirmation.

Our official delivery time is between 12am to 6pm, Mondays- Fridays and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and Public Holidays. Orders before 6am will be delivered same day while orders after this time will be delivered as next day priority.

Free delivery for items that are not heavy and above certain amount (subject to discussion upon order is confirmed) and customer will be informed where service charge applies.

How Much Will It Cost?

This depends on your total order, quantity, location and preferred delivery time. Charges will be communicated when processing your order through your preferred medium of communication.

How Do I Pay for My Order?

We accept online payments from all major Naira denominated debit and credit cards as well as international MasterCard and Visa cards. Also, we accept payment via PayPal, all you need to do is to create a PayPal account to get started.

Do Item Images Reflect Exactly What I Will Receive?

While most items show actual images of what will be delivered, some images may differ slightly from what is displayed on the website. This may occur for a variety of reasons including but not limited to a new/temporary packaging design by the manufacturer, promotional items, same content but different version of an item (e.g. different editions of books or varied book cover design depending on country of print). Some images may also be for illustration purposes only and may not exactly reflect the color, size and shape of actual item; this is particularly relevant for fruits, vegetables and other fresh produce.

Do I Pay for Delivery If Items Are Unavailable?

We will explore all options to provide your order to your satisfaction. However, if upon payment, we are unable to process your order due to exigencies beyond our control. We will forward you an email or message you on WhatsApp to provide your bank details for refund. You do not have to pay for delivery for unavailable items

Can I Pay on delivery?

No, all orders are prepaid.

What About Refunds?

Where we have been able to confirm any complaint as genuine or we are unable to deliver your order, we will send you an email to provide your bank account details for refund after deducting applicable bank charges. We have not started operating wallet accounts, once this is in place, your wallet account will be credited.

Can I Return Items?

If we deliver an incorrect or damaged item (damage that has been caused by us), we will happily replace the item at no additional cost to you. For us to replace such items, customers will need to notify the delivery personnel or dispatch, log complaint on the delivery card noting your observations at the point of delivery. Once customers have taken delivery of their order and signed confirming this, they take ownership of the items and Chopboku will be unable to accept any returns.

Can I Cancel My Order?

When we receive customer orders, we initiate the processing immediately and because we do not hold our inventory, we only purchase from supermarkets/food stores and retail/wholesale outlets as well as supplies from our partners when customers place orders, we pay for these orders and we start purchasing selected products.

The retailers/wholesalers we buy from do not have a return policy so we are unable to return any item customers purchase from us to the retailers. Thus, once and order has been placed and paid for, Chopboku is unable to accept a cancellation of the order.

However, if we receive cancellation on phone five hours to the delivery time, we can cancel the order and refund accordingly.

What I do no not find an item I would like to order on your product list?

Kindly contact us via email at support@chopboku.com or Call 08178349460. If we can get it, it will be delivered.

Does your delivery cover outside Lagos or Internationally?

Not yet

I made an order but am not home to take delivery, what happens next?

You have to call us at least five hours to delivery time to make alternate arrangement or deliver at your office or somewhere convenient.

Can I Shop on Chopboku without an account?

Yes, you can. Visitors can start shopping on chopboku.com without an account but very simple registration will be required to complete an order upon check-out. Returning customers only need to login with their username and password.

How do I place an order on Chopboku?

Visit the website www.chopboku.com to get started. Scroll to the product page, add your preferred products to the cart and check out. Upon check-out, drop personal information that can aid your order delivery then make payment.

How is your product pricing based?
No price for any item is fixed. Pricing is determined by market forces. The price of a product may vary from week to week. However, be assured that we strive to get you the cheapest price possible.

Can you Prep my purchase?

Yes, we can. Just leave us with the services you require on your purchase and prepping (wash, sort, blend,mince,slice,cut etc) will be done at a cost

What do I need to know about my Account Management?

To create an account, click on my account to see the sign in page, enter your username and password and click login to see your dashboard and view your account summary, past and recent orders, addresses and all your account information.

If you forget your password and wish to reset it, click on (lost my password) from the login page to display where you will be required to enter your registered email, simply enter your email and click (Reset password), a link will be sent to your email, follow the instructions in the email containing the link to reset your password.

To find out the status of your order, or view which items you ordered, click on my account.

Can someone collect my prepaid package on my behalf?

Yes. Please ensure your representative or You has the tracking number and a signed copy of your ID.
